guide wall 2. Wall 2 is tapered and forms a feeding chamber 3 for an animal. ANGLE of the taper of the wall of the hopper is less than the angle of taper of the guide wall 2. The cavity of the bunker and the feeding chamber are connected to each other by a chute formed by the inclined bottom 6 of the bunker. The feeder bin is located in front of the animal cage, under the floor of which, in the form of the grill 12, there is a feed box 11. In the feeding chamber 3 there is a device to prevent the feed-out from forming in the bunker-feeder 1, made in the form of a wire
parts 8 with a pedal 10. The shape and dimensions of the guide wall 2 are such that the animal can place only its head in the feeding chamber 3. When using the feeder, the animal is placed in a cage. Moving to the feeding chamber, the animal paws on the pedal 10, under the action of which part 8, oscillated, prevents the formation of a set of feed coming from the feeder hopper 1 into the tray and then into the feeding chamber. The remains of feed from the paws of the animal enter the feed tank 11. 3 Cp f-ly, 7 il1
This invention relates to agriculture, in particular to animal feeders.
The purpose of the invention is to prevent the loss of feed by ensuring that the animal head is placed in the feeding chamber of the animal’s head from its nose tip to the neck.
Figure 1 shows the auto-feeder, longitudinal section; in fig. 2 shows section A-A in FIG. one; in fig. 3 - automatic feeder equipped with a feed box; in fig. 4 - front view car feeder; in fig. 5 is a device for eliminating arching; in fig. 6 - the same, top view; in fig. 7 - the same, side view.
I
The auto-feeder includes a hopper feeder 1, which is a truncated cone, one side of which is cut off, and on the cut side there is a feed wall 2 forming the feeding chamber 3. The angle of taper of the feeder bunker 1 is larger than the angle of taper of the guide wall 2, and the horizontal profile of the guide wall 2 has a parabolic shape, since this corresponds to the shape of the head of rodents. The front-facing camera 3 is bounded by a threshold 4 with an inward-curved edge. The lower edge 5 of the guide wall 2 is sloping and extends backward, but its highest point lies lower than the threshold level 4. The maximum distance CL between the outer edge of the feeding chamber 3 formed by the threshold 4 and the guide wall 2;

ABOUT
0 3 Q s is determined taking into account that the animal can only enter the feeding chamber to the extent necessary for reception. This condition corresponds to the distance L from the neck to the tip of the nose of the animal (rat). The feeder hopper 1 has a bottom which is arranged horizontally or with a slight inclination in the direction of the feeding chamber. The maximum distance b between the lower edge 5 of the guide wall 2 and the bottom 6 is determined so that the animal cannot slip through the opening. This condition corresponds to the distance N, which is less than the largest profile of the head of the animal (rat). The bottom 6 is a chute by which the cavity of the silo feeder 1 communicates with the feeding chamber 3.
The dimensions of the auto feeder are changed according to the size of the body placed in the animal cage. The L and N sizes determined according to the body size of animals should be proportional: smaller, for example, to be kept small and large, to be kept in rats. The diameter of the auto feeder must be such that the animal with its front paws can reach any point of the bottom of the bunker-feeder 1 and, thus, completely eat the food, i.e. not to be inaccessible to the animal. The height of the feeder hopper 1 depends on the amount of feed to be loaded.
at once. This depends on the duration of the experimental work, which can last several hours or several days.
The auto-feeder (Fig. 1 and 2) can be attached to the cell in any way. For this, a corresponding opening is made in the side wall of the cage through which the animal has access to the feeding chamber. At the auto feeder (Fig. 3), the bunker 1 is made in the shape of a truncated half-cone and is closed with a vertical flat wall 7. The wall 7 has a window, the lower edge of which is formed by the inward-bent edge of the threshold 4. The guide wall 2 is in this case It is a separate conical area, the lower edge 5 of which runs horizontally. Wall 2 is mounted on wall 7, covering the feeding chamber 3. A device preventing the formation of a vault or cavity in the stern (Fig. 5-7), having the form of a wire piece 8, through holes 9 on both sides, passes through the feeding chamber 3.

the feeder I. Part 8 is located in the holes 9 with a gap, so the animal presses the pedal 10 through the feeding chamber 3, K9tora is also a multiple-curved wire (Figures 5-7) or a spedically attached element. Using this pedal, the animal drives the item 8 into the swinging shaft. At first, it is loaded with the appropriate amount of forage and then attached to the side wall of the animal cage. The animal 30 - the feed is fed at any time, pulling through the curved edge of the threshold 4 of the feed mass, which unimpededly enters from the hopper-feeder 1 into the feeding chamber 3. The level of the forage mass is always below the threshold level 4, since the guiding wall 2 is lowered below it. During the meal, the animal enters the feeding chamber 3.

mass of You can feed several animals in the same cage with an auto feeder, as the animals can enter the automatic feeder alternately.
The unrestricted downward movement of the feed mass in the feed hopper 1 is ensured by the fact that it is made expanding downwards and with a JQ guide wall that has a smaller inclination than its wall forms a feeding chamber 3 and a feeding and feeding chamber integrated into it - nLk 11, the floor above which is made in the barn, but there are varieties of fodder form of the grid 12. The feed box 11 is supplied with sticking to the side wall 13, flanging 14, which is the third. above the grate 12, look down (fig. 3 and 5), the digging blockage reservoir has a bottom 15. The grate to feed formation, which makes 12 or bottom 15 is located with a slope rocking motion under the action in the direction of an auto-feeder. Grate of the animal. This behavior of the animal
from the openings 9 and / or on both sides, the twisted genes are in the form of a spiral, or are connected to form a loop (Fig. 5), which makes it possible to loosen the powdered feed mass during the swaying motion, preventing the formation.
Auto feeder (Fig. 3) is not attached. directly to the side wall of the cell, as in this case before
0
12 may consist of wires or wires laid across the bars (Fig. 4), vertical channels may be made in it (Fig. 3), due to which animals cannot get feed waste into the feed tank through the grid. In addition, there is a protective grid 16j passage 1 da from the window of the feeder to the side wall 17 of the cage and limiting space for the animal to slide through the passage leading from the cage to the automatic feeder, as a result of which the animal can only leave the automatic feeder backwards.
The auto-feeder (Fig. 4) is made together with the feed box, and its grill 12 consists of simple rods.
The feeder of FIG. 3 and 4 should be precisely adjusted to the side wall of the cage so that the animal cannot crawl through the slits.
The feeder is used in the following 5 ways.
First, it is loaded with the appropriate amount of feed mass and then attached to the side wall of the cage for keeping the animal. Animal 0 - the plot is fed at any time, pulling through the curved edge of the threshold 4 of the feed mass, which unimpededly gets from the hopper-feeder 1 to the feeding chamber 3. The level of the forage mass is always below the threshold level 4, since the guiding wall 2 is lowered below it. During the meal, the animal enters the feeding chamber 3.

It is also ensured by the fact that the grill 12 is inclined towards the feeding chamber 3, as a result of which the animal's body weight is shifted to the front paws. The feed box 11 (Fig. 3), equipped with bars 12 and 16, serves to ensure that the animal, after feeding, leaving the feeding chamber, is forced to go back inside the flange 14, while the food stuck to its front paws on the grid and fails under the feed box. Thus, the food in the cage does not fall at all or gets into only a small amount that can be neglected.
The auto-feeder can be used for rodent experiments in laboratories, for example, it can be attached to a respiratory chamber. The respiration chamber is a cell designed in such a way that it is possible to ensure the collection of excreta 1x urine and feces by animals. By tons of animals with the help of auto drinkers. In this case, the feeder bunker 1 of the auto feeder is filled with the necessary amount of feed mass, after which the exact weight of the filled auto feeder is determined. After the experiment was finished, the auto-feed was again weighed together with the remnants of the feed mass, resulting in the amount of feed actually consumed by the animals during the experiment, since with the exception of the waste found in the feed box, practically no loss of the feed mass occurs.
The feeder can be used not only in laboratories, but also when keeping animals, when manufactured
